Early Arrowman

Truthfully, the beginning of Arrowman was not pretty. Not really even intentional. There was not a preconceived notion of "Arrowman" the super fan. He dressed to make a statement, to try to convey the emotion he felt for HIS TEAM, the Kansas City Chiefs. And it was a struggle. He had an idea of how he wanted to appear in 1989 but didn't come to a game dressed as Arrowman until 1992 so a friend would keep asking him to his spectacular tailgate parties.

"My buddy, Todd Walters, had these great tailgate parties and I went to one dressed up for the Chiefs game," said Monte. "They really made a big deal out of my outfit, so I decided to really do something special."

Arrowman was born.
